Asian Roast Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp (15-18 count) peeled

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Combine Hoisin sauce, sherry, garlic, ginger root, soy sauce, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  3. Add shrimp and toss to coat.
  4. Transfer to rectangular baking dish.
  5. Roast in a 425 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Serve warm or chilled. Makes 4 servings.
